Chatsworth House is one of England’s finest country houses and the seat of the Duke of Devonshire.

The house stands on the banks of the river Derwent and within a 1000 acre park, which is open throughout the year.

Other attractions include the gardens of Capability Brown, a 300 year old cascade, the gravity fed Emperor fountain, a maze, farmyard, woodland adventure playground, shops and restaurants.

The annual Chatsworth Country Fair takes place in late August or early September.
